Dirk van Duijvenbode wasn’t happy with Simon Whitlock during the semi final of the World Grand Prix. But their rivalry started the night before their match when Whitlock bumped into Van Duijvenbode in their hotel, so claims the Dutchman in his interview after the game.
Van Duijvenbode: “I was walking in the hotel with my mate when we suddenly walked into Simon Whitlock. He was shouting at us ‘110K! 110K’, so I looked at him and said ‘Mate, last warning!’ I was thinking: ‘What 110.000?’ You first have to get passed me. Maybe I will not win it, but he will for sure not win it now, haha.”
