Despite the unexpected moment, Van Gerwen maintained his composure and secured a convincing 6–3 victory, advancing to the semifinals. There, he met teenage sensation Luke Littler. Although the Dutchman posted an impressive average of 107.54, it was not enough to overcome Littler, who edged a thrilling contest 6–5 to book his place in the final.
On the other side of the draw, Gian van Veen appeared poised for a deep run after defeating Gerwyn Price 6–4 in the quarterfinals. However, his campaign was halted in the semifinals, where he narrowly lost 6–5 to Jonny Clayton, who delivered a strong performance with a 102.37 average.
The final proved far less competitive than the closely fought semifinals. Littler, carrying his momentum forward, dominated the decider with a commanding 6–1 victory over Clayton, capping off an impressive night and further solidifying his rising status in the sport.
