Danny van Trijp was playing at the Influencer Darts Showdown, which is part of the Modus Super Series, when his opponent threw a 180-score. The Dutchmad decided to take the microphone and do a 180-score like a T-Rex would…

Van Trijp, along with Van Schie, has shown that he’s incredibly skilled at the dartboard. But this weekend, we discovered he has even more talents. The English crowd, his opponents, and even the caller were caught completely off guard.

Even for Dutch viewers, this was something new. During the Dutch Open, it was already clear to the audience that he’s quite the party animal, as shown by the way he made his walk-on. He sang along to the song by ‘Losse Pols’ word for word and enjoyed it exuberantly.

So we’re used to a lot from the 28-year-old compatriot, but what he pulled out of the hat this time even surprised us. Richie Burnett even took a step back when the moment occurred — and not without reason.

But it’s also clear that he’s not just participating for fun, as his track record shows. Van Trijp started his career in the BDO and WDF before making the switch to the PDC in 2018. Although he initially struggled to earn a Tour Card through Q-School, he kept persevering. His breakthrough came in 2022 with victories in PDC Challenge Tour 9 and 11 in Hildesheim. These achievements earned him a Tour Card and qualification for the 2023 PDC World Championship, where he reached the second round after defeating Steve Beaton.

In 2025, Van Trijp added a third Challenge Tour title to his résumé by winning the 13th tournament in Milton Keynes, and he has also previously hit an impressive 9-darter during the Modus Super Series.
