Lewis Hamilton has been talking about Red Bull’s speed on the straight line for a couple of weeks now. Today after qualifying this was again mentioned and later Max Verstappen got a question about the performance by their Honda engine. This time the Dutchman got tired of the questions and fired back.

Lewis Hamilton: “They’ve had straight line speed again here this weekend which is hard for us to compete with”
Max Verstappen: “We have always been quiet good with altitude, but I think next time I am gonna bring a print out of the rear wing difference we are running. And then I am going to hand it over to every sinle journalist. Because I get these 2 questions now, like 2-3 weeks now, that we are really quick on the straight. And yes we are, but look at our rear wing. I don’t think it is exactly the same. And for sure Honda did a great job compared to last year but from our first engine and the engine we have in the car now it’s all about reliability, improvements and no clear advantage on pure power. So I am gonna fire up my printer next time and I am gonna hand over a few shots.”
