During day 1 of the PDC World Darts Championship it was Michael van Gerwen who was in the studio to give his analyses on the first matches. When they showed him a replay of the best leg ever which he had with Michael Smith in the final last year, the Dutchman responded joking ‘What a sh*t leg, haha’.
Interviewer: “Is this the first time you watch this footage again?”
Michael van Gerwen: “What a sh*t leg, haha. No, I have only watch this 68 times. Nah, I have seen it a lot of times.”
Interviewer: “Do you feel it when you hit it like that?”
Michael van Gerwen: “No, because I missed it…”
During that same night there was also this funny moment between the presenter and Michael van Gerwen when they changed the broadcast into a search an item which the Dutchman lost today.
