Michael van Gerwen wasn’t happy with the Dutch broadcaster Viaplay at the Premier League this week. They didn’t send a reporter but Van Gerwen had to talk to a laptop to do his interview which he believes is for amateurs.

Van Gerwen didn’t make a secret of his dissatisfaction with the way Viaplay conducted the interview. Clearly irritated, Michael van Gerwen expressed, “Where is Arjan, do I really have to do an interview through a laptop?” He continued, “We dart players come from far, can’t you arrange something better than an interview via a laptop?” Bart Nolles, the Viaplay presenter, responded somewhat awkwardly by indicating that he didn’t exactly understand what Van Gerwen was referring to.
Mighty Mike emphasized that he wasn’t injured but had an unpleasant journey that resulted in him arriving very late at the location. “Well, that happens when you travel a lot,” he remarked. “It just didn’t go my way tonight.” The Dutchman lost 6-2 to Rob Cross.
