James Wade currently holds the official world record for the most bull’s-eyes hit in 60 seconds, with a total of 15. A benchmark that has stood as a remarkable display of precision and consistency.

Justin Smith, however, believed that this record could be improved—and the footage of his attempt strongly supports that claim.

In the video, Smith not only appears to surpass the mark set by The Machine, but also delivers an extraordinary volume of bull’s-eyes within a single minute, even when single bull’s-eyes are excluded from the count. Rarely has such accuracy been witnessed in such a short time frame.

Despite the clear visual evidence, Smith’s name is unlikely to be added to the Guinness World Records at this stage. The attempt was not conducted as an official record submission, nor was a Guinness adjudicator present at the time.

That said, the absence of an official judge does not automatically disqualify a record. Guinness World Records allows submissions without an on-site adjudicator, provided that strict criteria are met. These include the presence of at least two independent witnesses, uninterrupted video footage, and the completion of the required official documentation.

Crucially, however, an official application must be submitted in advance. Whether such an application was made in this case remains doubtful. The attempt took place on the stage of the MODUS Super Series, where similar challenges are undertaken regularly. It would be unrealistic to assume that all such attempts are formally registered as official record bids.

Regardless of its official status, the performance stands as an outstanding achievement. It is also a challenge that players can try themselves—doing so quickly reveals just how exceptional this feat truly is. Even aiming for half the total will prove to be a formidable task.

A perfect challenge for the quieter moments during the Christmas period. We wish everyone happy holidays and an early Happy New Year, with eyes firmly fixed on the PDC World Championship 2026, running until 3 January 2026, with the exception of New Year’s Eve.
