Beau Greaves made her much-anticipated return to the PDC Pro Tour this week—and the men quickly realized just how dangerous she can be. The 21-year-old sensation lit up the oche, producing jaw-dropping performances that left established stars both stunned and impressed.
A Ruthless Start
Her campaign began on Monday at Players Championship 24, where she faced Dutchman Dennie Olde Kalter in the opening round. Despite Kalter averaging a solid 92.43, he was simply outclassed. Greaves delivered a blistering 107.36 average and cruised to a ruthless 6–0 whitewash. A brilliant checkout and Kalter’s stunned reaction were among the highlights of the day.
Taking Down a Legend
Next up was Dutch legend Raymond van Barneveld. Though the averages weren’t as high as in her opening match, the contest was full of drama. With Greaves leading 3–2 and Van Barneveld poised on double 10 to level the score, she produced a spectacular finish that broke the five-time world champion’s resistance. Sealing the tie 6–4, Greaves showed she is more than capable of competing—and winning—against one of the game’s greatest names.
Pushing the World Champion to the Brink
The challenge only grew tougher as she faced reigning world champion Luke Littler. In another thrilling battle, Greaves showcased her trademark composure and produced yet another remarkable finish. Littler’s reaction spoke volumes about the level of darts coming his way. The match went all the way to a deciding leg, where “The Nuke” narrowly escaped with a 6–5 victory.
Another Whitewash and More Fireworks
On Tuesday, Greaves returned for Players Championship 25, picking up where she left off. She opened with another 6–0 demolition, this time against Northern Ireland’s Mickey Mansell. Once again, her opponent averaged over 91, yet was given no chance as Greaves’ clinical finishing made the difference.
Her next opponent was Dutchman Danny Noppert—already warned by the scalps she had claimed earlier in the week. The encounter was tight throughout, with Noppert eventually managing to edge past her 6–5. Like Littler before him, “The Freeze” survived by the narrowest of margins.
A Statement Made
By the end of the week, Beau Greaves had proven once again that she belongs at the very highest level of the sport. With devastating finishing, fearless scoring, and the ability to rattle even the biggest names in darts, she showed that gender is no barrier in the PDC arena.
Greaves not only entertained but also sent a clear message: the established order in professional darts should be on notice.
