It wouldn’t be the only spectacle that The Bullet managed to produce this weekend, as one match later Luke Littler also had to bow out. With a 7-3 scoreline, the reigning world champion was swept off the board. Bunting threw an impressive average of 104.12 compared to 100.09 for The Nuke.

With that, Bunting secured a spot in the final, where he faced Gerwyn Price. The two delivered a brilliant match that came down to a decisive final leg. In the end, it was The Iceman who held his nerve and walked away with the title in Poland.
For Michael van Gerwen, the curtain fell in the second round after a hard-fought victory in the first.
