We have seen some darts but this set-up shot by Connor Scutt is a new one for us. Watch what he does from 190 points left to bring the score back to 2-2 in style. At the Super Series, Connor Scott astonished everyone by checking out 190 in a way that we never thought possible, as shown in the footage below.
WHAT… 🤯
Is that the *CRAZIEST* set-up shot we've ever seen?! 😱

He is a player with a unique mindset, always trying things in ways you’ve never seen before. Recently, he made headlines by attempting a rather unusual 9-darter. Instead of starting with the classic two 180s, he has his own route in mind, and if he ever succeeds, he’ll have the most beautiful perfect leg to his name.
After opening the leg with a 180, he goes down to triple 19 three times on his second turn. That scores 171 points, and when you subtract 180 and 171 from 501, you’re left with 150 points. When you start with three triple 20s and follow with three triple 19s, you can already sense where this is going from 150. Indeed, he then aims for three bullseyes and has tried this multiple times.
But now he has pulled yet another trick out of his hat, one that is new for the viewers as well. Not only are the spectators left in awe of what they’re witnessing, but even the opponents and commentators are unprepared for it, sometimes needing a moment to calculate what is happening.

This is especially important for the referee, who is used to logical, recurring patterns but is not mentally prepared for combinations he has never seen before. In this case, the caller clearly had to take a step back to grasp and calculate what was unfolding before his eyes.
It’s clear that Connor Scott is a unique individual who would pave new routes if he were to reach the top at the PDC. We might see him on the big televised tournaments one day, so for now, remember this name.
