Kim Huybrechts opened up about an incident between Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld and him and his brother Ronny Huybrechts which happened backstage. It all happened during the World Cup of Darts 2016 and Ronny had to step in to protect his brother backstage.
Kim Huybrechts: “Ronny said let’s change our order so you can play Raymond van Barneveld because he have won almost all your gamaes against him in the past. When Michael noticed this hey said “Are you scared, Kim?” and he was making chicken sounds. Van Barneveld joined him in this and then Ronny stepped up as my big brother and came in the middle of this. After my game I had some moments with Barney about this and it is still on YouTube”.
The footage he is referring to is shown below and happened right after Michael van Gerwen had beaten Ronny Huybrechts and then Raymond van Barneveld did beat Kim Huybrechts to beat Belgium.
