Raymond van Barneveld quit playing the online tournament ‘A night at the darts’ last year after being suspected of matchfixing. The Dutchman played against Martin Adams and was favourite to win by the betting offices. A large amount of money of over 60,000 Euro was put on Martin Adams while other matches had a total of around 700 Euro in bets.
Martin Adams won the game 5-0 and Van Barneveld averaged just 65,00. Barney denies he has something to do with this and quit playing in this tournament. Footage of this match is shown below.
