This weekend, the European Darts Trophy is being played in Göttingen, where darts fans have gathered to watch top players compete on German soil.
During the tournament, German player Dragutin Horvat produced a moment that is rarely—if ever—seen on the professional darts stage. In front of his home crowd, Horvat did something highly unusual during his match, as can be seen in the footage below.
It therefore came as little surprise that Luuk Woodhouse secured a dominant 6–0 victory, sending the German player out of the tournament at an early stage. Woodhouse will return to the stage on Saturday, where he is set to face Chris Dobey in the next round.
A strong Dutch contingent will also be in action on Saturday. The Netherlands will be represented by Jermaine Wattimena, Danny Noppert, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Wessel Nijman, Richard Veenstra, Michael van Gerwen, Niels Zonneveld, Gian van Veen and Kevin Doets.
Belgium is also still represented in the tournament, with Mike De Decker continuing his campaign this weekend.
