Max Verstappen Stands Up For Lewis Hamilton During Press Conference

During the press conference after qualifying of the Sakhir Grand Prix Max Verstappen stood up for Lewis Hamilton. He was asked if Mercedes needs a big bucks superstar like Lewis Hamilton as George Russell managed to lock up the front row for Mercedes as well.

Reporter: “Does Mercedes actually need a big buck superstar like Lewis to lock up the front row of the grid and possibly even win the race a 1-2. How do you suggest we answer that one?”
Max Verstappen: “Of course you do. Because he will make the difference in the most crucial moments. That’s why he is a seven times World Champion.”
