Valterri Bottas won the Russian Grand Prix today after a great start from P3. Max Verstappen complained about having a bad start from P2 on the dirty side when the Finnish driver joked that’s is the reason why he gave him the tow in qualifying.

Max: “The race itself. Yeah the start was pretty bad but it was just so low grip on the inside, the right hand side. So, it seemed like everybody had a really poor start.”
Valtteri: “That is why I gave you a tow in qualifying”
Max: “Yeah…”

Max: “Yeah, I don’t know if we could do something different. Well, Valtteri shouldn’t have been in my way in qualifying then with the tow, haha. Then I would have been third”
