Last night Jelle Klaasen competed in night 7 of PDC’s Home Tour. During his match against Gabriel Clemens the Dutchman did a 70 checkout but many viewers were complaining the third dart wasn’t in the double.
Below we bring you footage of this moment.

Jelle Klaasen’s 70 checkout
We have to admit it looks like the dart is outside the board. But we have to understand it is captured with a low quality camera which makes it easy to get tricked.
In the next footage someone zoomed in on this moment which makes it look like the dart actually was in. However, other people say they see the same movement in the double 5 claiming it is the shadow of the dart.

Also Jelle Klaasen himself posted a tweet on this discussion on social media with a reaction and posting the video we showed above as evidence his dart was actually in the corner of tops. Also Dan Dawson backed up Klaasen and came up with an explanation why his dart was in fact in.

Jelle Klaasen’s reaction
First of all I would like to say I’m happy to win the group ?? but im a bit disappointed people would think i cheated on that 70 finish… my points are long and the image is blurry because of the livestream but I can guarantee you it was in the corner of tops! ????

I will be changing my setup next time I’m playing ? 1 extra camera so I can record everything myself and have some extra footage that will be extra sharp haha ?? maybe a good tip for everyone involved in playing darts online ? @OfficialPDC @dartingp

Dan Dawson’s reaction
Skinny 10
Fat 20
Top left corner of D20Check his 2nd dart & see how long that point is… then factor that in when you're looking at the other 2.
That's how I see it.
I know everyone loves a witch-hunt (especially on here) but watching it back, I don't have a problem with it.
